Harlee Bennett became Mrs. Brent Bennett at our cozy , intimate venue ...(Lofty Hitchins' ) on Saturday September 5,2026 . How blessed we feel by each couple who places their trust in us for the most special day of their life's to this point . The details and , decor are always different and to each individual's choice . We enjoy seeing the personal touches come to life . One thing that is always the same is the love that comes with each couple and their extended families. It is a joy that I personally will never get tired of . We love seeing that glimpse into eternity where all will be as God planned it . We wish all the joy and happiness for Harlee and Brent that their hearts can hold and hope for them that these feelings of love endure the many things that may try to divide them through the years . May God pour his riches blessings upon this union forever.

Saturday is always a special day, Especially August 29 ,2026 says,"Sophie Gobble and Drake Ray......" Beautiful skies and sunshine were in the forecast for the day and they were of an abundance. The wedding was held at Lofty Hitchins' infamous Moongate & the familes worked feverishly to make every detail spot on as per Sophie's dreams and specifications. Even the couple table with such intricate arch's and her amazing stained glass name painting added to the special decor designed specifically for this day . Sophie's mom says the the only trouble she ran into was knowing when to stop but we were all captivated by the beauty she and her loving crew brought to transform the place into a dreamscape for her daughter. We hope they have will share more pictures of the gorgeous couple from their dream day but until then....Enjoy these decor pix made by yours truly. We wish to thank this sweet couple and their beautiful family for allowing us a peek into their perfect day and wish for them an eternity together happily ever after. I've been waiting all week to make this post .... Steve and I celebrated our beautiful grandchildren ( Mallorie Ashton Butler &James Smith )and their special union ..... this first post is mostly just decor and such for their day captured by me ...however I will definitely be posting more photos from this day curtesy of Tyrone Berry Photography..... He was so a joy to work with as this day was off the charts on the heat index and he never once complained about any request made of him . We felt blessed to be able to host this family event that is so dear to our hearts . We wish our gorgeous granddaughter and her new husband and their breathtaking baby girl Hazel all the love God has to offer them .

We had a beautiful baby shower here at Lofty Hitchins ' celebrating Whitney and Ryan and their precious twin boys ..... We appreciate all the support from this family throughout our years as a venue . The repeat families always mean so much to us. Thank you just seems a small thing to say but we hope these words enter their hearts with the sincerity that is meant.

Saturday, June 27, 2026, was predicted to have an 80% chance of rain, but every now and again a bride's dreams of an outdoor wedding override the weather man's predictions. Such was the case for Sofia and Andrew on this gorgeous, sunny day. Sofia was a vision of loveliness in her form-fitting gown, and Andrew was a salute to the man in uniform. Together, they formed a stunning couple, and it was evident to all in attendance that their love story was the real deal. We were blessed to have another former student of Steve's married in our venue. We never take these moments for granted and feel greatly blessed to continue friendships long after graduation. We wish this beautiful family every happiness and prosperity. Thanks for choosing us.

Yesterday was a hard day for the Lofty Hitchins' / Cheatwood family. Our Polie Bear crossed the rainbow bridge . It was one of those moments you're never ready for . I probably griped about , fussed at and also worried over loved and fed this big gentle giant as much as anyone . However he was Steve's true buddy... If his truck moved and was anywhere on this farm Polie was right behind him no matter how bad he felt . WE were his herd . He rallied. Around us , guarded us and trembled through every storm with us . He was terrified of storms , gunshots and fireworks..... enough so that he litterally chewed up and tore down our metal French doors . Full disclaimer each of us at various times threatened his death but the whole crowd have mourned and shed numerous tears at his departure. I feel confident that he and ole Sarge are walking heavens streets together albeit they may be on opposite sides of the street because they weren't friends they were just brothers . lol Our Barn and home will be lost for a while without him but we were blessed to love him for 11 1/2 sweet years . RIP Polie we'll see you on the other side

Love was most definitely in the air here at Lofty Hitchins' on Saturday, May 30, 2026. If there's any doubt, just ask Alaina Hull and Treyton Brazier, the bride and groom, or any of their guests for that matter. These two were all smiles and the absolute sweetest to host. We are blessed that we were their pick of places to hold this special day. We pray that the love they feel for each other today will continue to flourish and grow to its ultimate capacity, and they will be found holding hands in rockers, still in love, for the remainder of their days and throughout eternity. Saturday, May 23rd, 2026; although it was a bit damp, the day was filled with rays of happiness and love for Carlie Alvarez and Jacob Gohn. Now Mr. and Mrs. Gohn... Carlie was such a joy to host, as nothing seemed to rain on her parade; instead, she chose joy and love to rule over her special day. Their parents, along with a host of friends, put forth every effort to ensure all looked exactly as Carlie had envisioned it. We are blessed to have even a glimmer of assistance in making this event come to pass, and we pray for all of God's choicest blessings on this union. Thanks for choosing us.
