Casey grew up training right here at KPDA, and now we’re so excited to have her sharing her love of dance with the next generation of dancers! There’s something extra special about watching someone who once learned in our classrooms come full circle and become part of the teaching team. 🥹

Kids Can Do Recital. Wellness Month.
Lots of dancing, lots of laughs, and even more memories made. ❤️

August reminded us that some of the best parts of KPDA have nothing to do with what happens on a stage. It’s the everyday moments, the friendships, the growth, the opportunities, and the people we get to share it all with.

What a way to start our 2026-2027 season.
We can’t wait to see what September holds. ✨

That’s a wrap on Wellness Month! 🤎✨

Throughout August, we focused on taking care of the whole dancer—our bodies, our minds, and the habits that help us feel our best both in and out of the studio.

We’re closing out our series with Mayci Puckett, who is sharing about the importance of fueling our bodies and giving ourselves the energy we need to learn, grow, recover, and DANCE!

Thank you for following along with us all month long. Wellness Month may be over, but taking care of ourselves doesn’t stop here.

Because becoming your best dancer starts with taking care of the person behind the dancer. 🤎✨

Calling all middle + high school dance team dancers! 📣✨

We’re adding a NEW class specifically for dancers wanting to build the tricks and skills they’re seeing on the sidelines and competition floor!

We’ll be working on:
⭐ Headstands
⭐ Headsprings
⭐ Kip-ups
⭐ Rubber band progressions
⭐ Aerial progressions
⭐ And more!

This week we are getting to know Jaylee Young!

From KPDA dancer ➡️ UK Wildcat ➡️
KPDA teacher!

Jaylee is a former KPDA dancer and former member of the University of Kentucky Wildcat Dance Team, and we’re so lucky to now have her sharing her experience and love for dance with our students!

Now in her third year teaching at KPDA, Jaylee has become such a loved part of our studio. Our dancers absolutely adore her, and it’s easy to see why!

We love having Jaylee as part of our KPDA family and are so grateful for everything she brings to our dancers! 🫶
