ONE WEEK - Tuesday Concert presents Sugarfoot Detour

Woohoo! Sugarfoot Detour returns to Tuesday Concert. Out of all the Lawrence bands I love, this one has to be my favorite. We hear them probably a dozen times a year and we never get tired of their music. Byron is a winner at the esteemed Kerrville Folk Festival, and he and Mick produce the outstanding 901 Concert Series. John, Colby and Ross are well known for playing in a variety of other bands in Lawrence, so when you put all this talent together you get a quality evening of entertainment.

And the rest of the fall season looks great too.

I am delighted to announce that not only will the Boys of the Prairie be performing in the Tuesday Concert Series on St Patrick's Day, but the Lawrence Arts Center Irish Dancers will be joining them for an evening of traditional music and dance. Get your green on, because it doesn't get much better than this.

The Boys of the Prairie is Lawrence's oldest and most respected Celtic band. They have two concerts earlier in the day, but reserved the evening of traditional Celtic tunes and songs just for us. As an added bonus, Annie Stark's Irish Dancers will be kicking (literally) off the evening with their fine dance forms.

Friends - what else could you possbly want to do Tuesday Evening to celebrate the luck of the Irish on St Patrick's Day?
