Reflections after spending an afternoon with a resin artist (who wishes to be annonymous) I think it’s extremely special when artists and creators make things out of scraps. It’s one of my favorite ways to make clothing. At this point in my life I’ve spent decades toiling away at my craft, and honing my skills. I can’t say that I make anything especially useful…kitchen towel hangers maybe, but I think things that exist and are just beautiful are still worthwhile things.

This is how I used my iPhone to perfectly color match yarns to garments. I used the color picker tool in markup to zoom in on the perfect shade of CORAL!!! I’m really in love with the finished product, and how it looks against her curls. Thank you maddie⭒ for trusting me with such an important accessory for such an important trip. I hope to peace you felt in Colorado stays with you a long time. You slayed it.

Make a with me! I can’t keep plants alive, so these are a great option for me. I love to use spray starch to make the leaves extra special, and give them some more firmness. I also doubled my yarn for the black and sparkly leaves. 🌱

I handmade this peplum tank for a popup. It’s made out of all the big scraps from my projects for the popup, and the little scraps became amigurumi stuffing! I’m pretty much obsessed with how it turned out.
