Today’s Female Artist Feature is .ane! Neka is an artist based in Spain. She creates paper cut-out portraits of female figures. In her series "The Imperfect Woman," Neka describes her use of continous, delicate line as a way of capturing feminine beauty. Liz Rundorff Smith is an artist based in Greenville, SC. Working in oil, pastel powder, graphite, and wax, she grapples with memorial as it relates to the everyday. She is particularly interested in the ways we assign meaning to seemingly valueless objects—the ways such objects can make loss or memory more accessible.
