Hear ye, hear ye! A Greater Lavonia Community Inc. Board of Directors doth offer our sincerest thanks to all nobles, villagers, merchants, entertainers, and faithful volunteers who made the 2026 Lavonia Renaissance Festival on May 2nd a grand success. Thy merriment, kindness, and cheerful spirits brought great joy to the kingdom of Lavonia.

For the fourth year in a row, the skies threatened rain upon our festival day, yet fortune smiled upon us once more. The storms did pass us by, and even the golden sun did peek through the clouds for a time, blessing our celebration.

We are most grateful to all who played a part in this wondrous gathering. Until we meet again, may thy days be merry and thy journeys safe!

We are pleased to welcome Lacy Greer as the new Vendor and Event Coordinator of the Lavonia Renaissance Festival. Lacy brings a strong background in both Renaissance arts and event coordination, with over seven years of experience as a traveling Renaissance and medieval art vendor and three years of hands-on Renaissance festival coordination.

Lacy began her coordination career with CastleFaire, an authentic medieval market held at a real castle in Helen, Georgia. Now entering her third year as CastleFaire Coordinator, she has played a key role in shaping an immersive, historically inspired experience for both vendors and patrons. Her experience also includes three years assisting with CarnageFest, a medieval full-contact combat festival featuring live-action demonstrations and a curated vendor market.

In addition, Lacy has helped co-host a medieval-themed OctoberFest for Savage Craft Brewery in South Carolina, blending historical flair with modern event production. Committed to continued professional growth, she has applied for the Arizona Renaissance Festival Vendor Coordinator position and is currently pursuing event planning coursework toward becoming a Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP).

With her deep roots in the Renaissance community, passion for authenticity, and expanding professional credentials, Lacy is well positioned to guide the Lavonia Renaissance Festival as it returns to its traditional roots and continues to grow.

(Merchant applications will open next week.)
