The Sidetrack Theater at On The Rail // will be the meeting place on Saturday the 27th for another reunion of my father's side of the family. Lon and Julia Wilder Willbanks We are looking forward to seeing our Aunt and the many many cousins, great nieces and nephews and their children. I am please to announce I will be sitting in on saxophones this Saturday June 21st with Charlie Willbanks' dixieland band in Toccoa. 'The Windjammers' will be appearing from 8:00 PM until 10:00 PM as part of the Ida Cox concert series. The street music festival is located at 23 Doyle street in down town Toccoa. We are hoping all our followers and friends had a great Christmas and New Years celebration. Out 2014 season begins Tuesday January 7, with the third gathering of Jamming with Friends Series @ On The Rail. We know the temps are forecast to be a bit frigid on Tuesday, be we will have our furnace and a big fire in the wood stove going and look forward to seeing all of you at 6PM til. The last event was a great time and we had new players from the Winder and Buford are drop by. Let's keep getting the word out and grow the participation. Remember our gourmet pot luck and we will have hot food and drinks available. Be sure and bring your friends as the event is open to players, singers and toe tappers as well.

We are wish all our friends a wonderful Christmas and look forward to helping you celebrate a grand new year. After spending time with our families, we are preparing for our next great Jamming with Friends Series. Our last event was great as we had pickers form the first Tuesday night session return and were pleased to seen new musicians from the Atlanta area join us. We added a vocalist, bass player, and piano player and expect that our January jam will include a drummer as well. So be sure and set you calendar for two weeks from today Tuesday January 7 2014 and come join the fun. The more instrumentalist we have the better as we grow to different genres of music, including bluegrass, blues, jazz, country and rock etc. If you do not play an instrument come on out and enjoy listening and toe tapping. Food will be available and we will continue with our gourmet pot luck as it was quite popular this past Tuesday. Of you have a favorite gourmet dish we would like to taste it. Enjoy your holiday and we'll see you in 14!!!
