📣🥳 I have a big exciting announcement to make! 🥳📣

I’ve been photographing weddings and couples for a few years which I’ve very much enjoyed, but now it will be my turn on the 18th of November to be marrying my fiancé and forever best friend!

I will be taking a break from photographing weddings, and I don’t know if I’ll be continuing again or not, but I might go back to photographing portraits at some point! But I will definitely be photographing a lot more landscapes during my travels after I’m married, which I’ll be posting to my other page, TNM Artistry - Art!

Photo credit to my second shooter and brother, Eric.

Something I made today. It was a whole lot harder than it looks! It’s real dirt and dried grass. 🌱🦋

Y’all, I just discovered something. This shot that I got that I thought was part of the aurora, isn’t actually the aurora. (And no, this isn’t a joke. 😆)

STEVE is an acronym for Strong Thermal Emission Velocity Enhancement. It can stretch across toward the southern part of the sky. Which I remember noting that I saw a peculiar white band in the south, but this photo is facing west, of the same occurrence.

"STEVE is a celestial phenomenon first identified in 2016 that presents as a long thin ribbon of light (usually white, purple or green) in the sky.

STEVE looks like an aurora, and often occurs at the same time as auroras, but it is not one. Auroras occur when highly charged particles from solar storms and solar wind collide with gas molecules in the upper atmosphere. STEVE, on the other hand, is caused by hot plasma that breaks through Earth’s magnetosphere during solar storms." - quoted from weather.com

Everyone is showing off their aurora images, so I'll include my own! I wish I could’ve been out shooting all night, but I still had to milk the cows. But while I was milking it was even more spectacular than when I took these photos. It always happens that way. 😆 This has always been on my list to see this much, and to photograph. I'm so thankful for the clear skies last night! I hear it's still an amazing light show this whole weekend, but there's now a lovely cloud cover.
