The Dirt Challenge is here, and this Saturday will be our last trophy-race of the 2026 season with one last shot at taking home some hardware!🏁

🏁 TCRC TRACK ANNOUNCEMENT & SCHEDULE UPDATE 🏁

Hey everyone! We’ve got a few important schedule updates, series finales, and upcoming road trips to break down for the rest of the season. Check out the lineup below so you can plan your pit schedule accordingly!

📅 THE UPCOMING LINEUP

This Weekend: NO RACING — Taking a quick breather!

This Coming Tuesday: GAME ON! We are racing for the FINALE of the Thunder Series! Come out and see who takes home the points title! 🏆

Next Saturday: August 15th- dirt challenge at Accel RC

Weekend of August 21st: NO RACING — Closed for track maintenance to get the surface dialed back in.

August 29th: ROAD TRIP! A solid portion of the TCRC crew is heading down to Red River RC for their Money Race. Come out and represent!

🏆 SERIES & STATE RACE UPDATES

September 12th: The AROC Appalachian RC Offroad Championship wraps up at ACCEL RC !

WV State Race Reschedule: The State Race is being moved off its original September 19th slot so our racing community can support Idlewild's Cancer Benefit Race that same day.

New State Race Window: We are looking at the last weekend of September or the 1st/2nd weekend of October.

Official Date: A firm date will be locked in and announced this weekend!

📢 UPDATED SCHEDULE

Due to the multiple rainouts we’ve had this season, we’ve updated the series schedule.

✅ We will now run a total of 6 races for the 2026 Tuesday Night Thunder Series.

🏆 Your best 4 finishes will count (2 drops).

After tomorrow’s Round 5, we’ll wrap up the series with our Season Finale next Tuesday, August 11, where we’ll crown our champions and present the Tuesday Night Thunder Series trophies immediately following the final race.

We wanted to thank everyone that came out to the AROC Appalachian RC Offroad Championship Round 2 yesterday. One of the biggest crowds we have had in a while and we couldn’t do without all of the drivers. We will be upgrading the PA system with all new speakers, so everyone can have a more enjoyable experience in the coming weeks. We know it is hard to hear with what we have now. Once again thanks to everyone that came out yesterday and we will see you at the Round 3 Finale at ACCEL RC on September 12, 2026.

Track opens at 4pm today!!

🏁 Camping & Practice Opens TODAY at 4:00 PM! 🏕️

The wait is almost over! Join us this afternoon as camping and open practice begin at 4:00 PM for AROC Round 2 at Tri-Cities RC Racing. It’s the perfect opportunity to get some laps in, dial in your setup, and enjoy an evening with fellow racers before tomorrow’s event.

🌤️ The weather is looking good! Friday is expected to be warm with only a slight chance of rain, and Saturday’s forecast is shaping up nicely with cooler temperatures and just a minimal chance of a stray shower. It’s looking like a great weekend to go racing!

The wait is over! Our 2026 Appalachian R/C Offroad Championship trophies have arrived, and they look awesome! 🏁🔥 Shout out to Trick Lidz Graphix, LLC

These championship awards will be presented at the conclusion of the AROC Championship Finale on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at ACCEL RC.

The champions of each class will also receive FREE ENTRY for all 2027 AROC Championship Series Races.

We want to thank AMain Hobbies and Horizon Hobby for supporting this series with giveaways during the Round 3 Finale. Every registered driver will receive a ticket with a chance to win prizes.
