We at the Laurel Little Theatre are heartbroken at the loss of our Will Hodges. He had just taken a board position and was slated to direct next season. We are humbled and honored at the family’s decision to request donations in lieu of flowers for Will. We decided to use the collected money to create a scholarship for young people planning to attend Kids Camp. We believe Will would love this idea because he knew that kids are our future and would be so proud to be the source for more kids being able to attend. Our Will Hodges has been a part of LLT for many years directing such hits as Hello Dolly and Big Fish to name a few. Suffice it to say he’s having some health problems that could use some big prayers🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 so lovers of theatre, please help us lift him up for healing .. cause we all need him around !

We are so blessed and honored by our most recent donation of the most gorgeous hats you have ever seen! Dr. Mazella Sanders brought a collection of her mother’s hats to us and we are so grateful! Hats are hard to come by and often very expensive. The legacy of Ms. Nancy will live on every time someone wears one of these beauties! If you ever have clothing or accessories that you’d like to donate to the theater we are happy to accept ! Thank you to the Breland family for your generosity!

Hey! If you ever thought, “I should volunteer at the theater “ and you’re great with organizing, love fashion, and perhaps can even sew a little we would love to have more costume people ! Even a dressing room captain would be helpful! Just message us .. we have a big show coming up and many to costume !

I had never heard of a theatre assigning “dressing room captains” before, but after seeing one community theatre do it, I think it’s a fantastic idea.
