Checked in yesterday.
This afternoon, I walked out of the room to get ice. The ice machine was not working so I tried the floor, above. There was already a guy there and he told me the machine wasn't working. I went up to the next floor, no ice. I went to the floor below ours and again, no ice. Very annoying but I can live with it.
However, when I came back to my room the key card wouldn't work. I knocked and my wife opened the door for me and told me she was on the phone with the front desk because, while I was gone, a man walked into our room and she was filing a complaint and waiting to speak with a supervisor. Both my wife and the man who walked into our room were very embarrassed. He had a key that worked for our room.
The girl on the phone told my wife we were not supposed to be in the room. My wife told her this was our second day here and were due to leave the day after tomorrow. My wife asked to speak to a supervisor. Of course, no supervisor was available and she was told we would be contacted. How in the hell is a supervisor of a Casino/hotel resort, not available???????
Meanwhile, I discovered both of our keys had been disabled.
I called and asked them to send up, two key cards that would work. Shortly, a man came up with working key cards.
I checked the cards and they worked. I told him about the ice machines and he asked me if I'd tried the floors above and below. I told him I had and he told me, "I haven't been to the other floors." and walked away.
Terrible customer service, bad attitudes, mediocre rooms to say the least, and we are stuck for another two nights but will never come here, again.
for 7 years place was nice feeling == suddenly with new ownership the place turned on the locals and snowbirds plus the regular lower income players
Came for my very first visit in laughlin Nevada last may. My friends and I went to the caboose lounge and had such a great time. The band that played on Friday and Saturday night was Tommy Rocker with Prince Ama. They were so much fun. I have to say of all the bands we seen that week they were by far the best. We are coming back May 29 thur June 5 this year and are foward to seeing them again.

Please tell me the name of the group who played in The Caboose Lounge on Sat and Sunday, Feb 16 and 27. They were fabulous and would like to look them up for their schedule .
