Wednesday, March 29 will be the last day to make reservations for the Mother /Daughter Grandmother/Granddaughter Tea Party and Easter Egg Hunt which will be held at Abingdon Manor in Latta on Sunday, April 2 at 3:00.Reservations can be made by calling Eleanor at 843-319-3144. The Easter Bunny will be present! Tickets are $25 each. The Latta Schools Educational Foundation is sponsoring this event. Please join us for a fun afternoon.

Bryan Pittman, Elvis tribute artist, will return to the Ellis Performing Arts Center on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at 7 p.m. Reservations are encouraged. Tickets are $15. As an added treat, the Latta Schools Educational Foundation has partnered with Shulers Barbecue to give you an opportunity to take advantage of a wonderful offer. For $25 you will receive 1 ticket to the concert AND 1 buffet ticket to Shulers Barbecue, Highway 38 West just outside of Latta. The buffet ticket is to be used prior to the concert on February 11 between 3:30 and 6:45 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by contacting Eleanor at 843-752-7101, ext. 1017 or by the Latta Schools District Office at 205 King Street in Latta. They cam also be purchased at the door that evening, if available.

Darth Vader visited the Ellis Performing Arts Center during the "First Bank Summer Series" showing of 'Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope". He was accompanied by two storm troopers, Hans Solo, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, and a small horde of other Star Wars characters who came to the show. More pictures to come.

The night was a huge success and will be followed with two more shows, coming soon.
