Happy Monday, everyone. Believe it or not, the 2025 Baseball/Softball and tee-ball signups for the Town of Latta are underway. You can sign up at Town Hall, starting today Monday through Friday, 9 am-5 pm, or at any of the home basketball games this week from 5-9 pm. Keep in mind that signups will end once our maximum player limit is reached, so don't wait to sign up, as spaces are limited. Note that there will be no exceptions or extensions to the deadline. These changes are to help us improve our process of placing equipment and uniform orders to have them for opening day of the season.

8u state halftime update

We're just one day away from our 8u Vikings football team playing for the SC State Championship. The game will be held in Rockhill at 11am on Saturday. These kids have earned their spot and are so deserving of this opportunity. Head Coach Jeff Huggins and his staff are likely to be camping out at the stadium tomorrow night, reviewing film and going over game plans. Judging by the one or two or fifty phone calls daily I don’t think Jeff has slept a wink the last few days. This team is pumped up and as excited and they can be.

To the players and coaches, we're proud of your achievements on and off the field. What's truly remarkable is how you've all come together daily to pray for each other, your coaches, families,your director and even the community you’re growing up in and representing on the biggest stage in football, THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!! That's what makes you true champions. You've set an example for younger athletes to follow. Good luck on Saturday gentlemen. Take it all in and Finish the job
