Call for Artists: 2026 Saint Vincent College Alumni Fine Art Exhibition

The Verostko Center for the Arts is pleased to invite submissions for the 2026 Saint Vincent College Alumni Fine Art Exhibition, on view August 29–December 4, 2026.

This exhibition celebrates the creativity, talent, and artistic accomplishments of the Saint Vincent community by showcasing work from alumni and former students across a wide range of artistic disciplines.

Eligible artists include all Saint Vincent College graduates, as well as anyone who has completed at least one course at Saint Vincent. Artists may submit up to five original works in media including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, printmaking, fiber arts, stained glass, mosaics, mixed media, and more.

This year's exhibition will be juried by Alison Brand Oehler, Co-Director of Concept Art Gallery in Pittsburgh, offering participants the opportunity to have their work reviewed by a respected arts professional.

Submission Deadline: July 9, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.

Submission Fee: Free for graduates from the Classes of 2022–2026; $20 for all other applicants

Artist Notification: August 5, 2026

Opening Reception: September 3, 2026, from 4:00–7:00 p.m.

Calling all Saint Vincent College alumni!

The Verostko Center for the Arts is now accepting submissions for the 2026 Saint Vincent College Alumni Fine Art Exhibition, on view August 29–December 4, 2026.

Open to all SVC alumni and anyone who has completed at least one undergraduate course at Saint Vincent. Artists may submit up to five original works in a wide range of media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, fiber arts, printmaking, stained glass, mosaics, and more.

Submission deadline: July 9, 2026

Opening Reception: September 3, 2026, 4–7 p.m.

The exhibition will be juried by Alison Brand Oehler, Co-Director of Concept Art Gallery in Pittsburgh.

Step into a world of texture, rhythm, and discovery during The Wild Muse: Where Art Meets Ecology on Friday, May 15, at the McCarl Coverlet Gallery in collaboration with the Winnie Palmer Nature Reserve and the Verostko Center for the Arts.

In the featured workshop, Patterns of Place: Natural Patterns and Woven Insight, adult learners will explore the visual rhythms found in nature and historic woven design through hands-on observation, creative exploration, and artmaking inspired by the remarkable textile traditions of the McCarl Coverlet Gallery.

From spirals in leaves to the geometric beauty of handwoven coverlets, participants will slow down, look closely, and discover how artists and makers transform patterns from the natural world into creative expression.
