COMPANY FOUNDERS:
Matthew “Mato” Gucu, Owner
Matt has been an entertainer and professional singer for over 25 years in Las Vegas. As an industry veteran, he has enjoyed success both on and off stage with various projects. At 19, he started an indie record label and helped chart several bands in the college market. Currently, he is still enjoying a 25+ year run with his bandmates in 80’s Station
– Las Vegas’ premier 1980’s tribute band (formerly known as Loveshack) one of the highest paid lounge acts in Vegas history. Matt also achieved a $750,000 record deal with RCA Records in the late 1990’s with his band 12 Volt S*x and had the pleasure of working with heavy weight producers such as Tom Rothrock (Beck, Foo Fighters) and the late Jerry Finn (Green Day, Blink 182). Unfortunately for 12 Volt S*x, Christina Aguilera took the spotlight at RCA during the time that the band’s album was set to be released and so the record was shelved. But that didn’t stop Matt from finding other creative and business outlets to express his knowledge and creativity. Having amassed a wealth of experience in the Entertainment Industry, Matt eventually started his own company, New Moon Entertainment, in April of 2015. Monica Gucu, Owner
Monica is not only Matt’s beautiful wife but she’s also an accomplished business woman in her own right. She has a 12 year history of sales and team management in several industries including banking, hospitality, and retail. She has a BA in business and marketing from the University of Las Vegas Nevada and brings her excellent organizational, financial, and sales skills to New Moon Entertainment. Considered the back-bone of the business, Monica handles the ‘dirty work’ of the company with grace and ease.
