🏛 AI HERITAGE CHALLENGE — BRINGING HERITAGE BACK TO LIFE
How can Artificial Intelligence help us preserve, restore and reimagine the world’s cultural heritage?
On 3 September 2026 in Venice, during the AI Film Awards Venice × Donà dalle Rose Foundation, we are launching the AI Heritage Challenge.
🎬 Filmmakers and AI creators are invited to produce a 30–60 second vertical AI film showing how technology can bring monuments, artworks, historical places and cultural memories back to life.

As a use case, here a film dedicated to the Castle of Najac in France 🇫🇷 — visualizing its transformation through time, from its present historic state to a spectacular restored vision, with AI recreating the construction and renovation process.
This is exactly where we believe AI can become much more than a creative tool: a new way to experience history, imagine restoration and transmit heritage to future generations.
