⏳ Time in Shelter: Over 700 days (And counting!)

Ladies and gentlemen, brace yourselves—Thaddeus is here, and he’s been playing rescue roulette for over 700 days. That’s right, more than 700 days of taxpayer theft wrapped in fur. This guy couldn’t “puppy dog eyes” his way out of a paper bag if his life depended on it. Which… it does!

🎰 House Arrest:
Thad is being pushed as the ultimate work-from-home companion. Spoiler alert: he’s not. Unless you count snoring loudly, sh****ng on your sofa, and shedding fur everywhere as valuable office skills. With the separation anxiety this dog will have after literal years in a shelter, you’ll need to work from home just to keep your dry wall and furniture from ending up in his stomach.

🃏 High Energy Terror:
Thinking of taking Thad for a nice, relaxing walk? Think again. This guy is a one-dog stampede. He’ll drag you through bushes, puddles, and maybe even traffic if you’re not careful (or if you’re lucky, just himself). He’s got enough stamina to exhaust a marathon runner, but zero sense of self preservation.

🎲 Aesthetically Awful:
Let’s be honest, Thad isn’t winning any beauty contests. With his soulless eyes, giant block head, and a face that would look better on a gothic cathedral than on a dog, this guy’s got a look that only a horror movie fan would want to look at. Every day he tries to turn on the charm, but it’s hard when you’ve got the face of a demon.

💖 Totally Unadoptable:
Thad’s like that item on clearance that no one wants even at a 99% discount. The shelter literally can’t give him away (or put him out of his misery because sadly he’s at a no-kill pit warehouse). People walk by his kennel, take one look, and keep moving. Thad needs a unicorn home with no kids, no cats, and no other pets. For some strange reason, adopters like this never show up! We’re surprised too.

Stop saying we are full! As these photos clearly show we have plenty of room for more pit bulls! The dogs are happy and loving life here at the Casino for the extremely short time they are here with us. They're just anxious to meet their new families because so many dogs go in and out of here lightning fast. Like all animal shelters we have trouble even keeping the extremely low number of pit bulls we do get. There is always plenty of room for pit bulls because they make such great family dogs and hundreds of loving families are waiting for a pit bull right now!

🐾💖 This unique girl is looking for a one-of-a-kind home despite being a dime a dozen garbage dog.

💪 Maneater: Watch out boys, she'll chew you up. Literally! Pookie is a powerhouse with a strong personality who HATES men. She needs a confident and experienced handler, "preferably a strong man," because not even the underpaid, understaffed shelter workers are willing to try and deal with her.

👶🏼 Kid Killer: Pookie is best suited for a home without children, or well children you want to keep alive that is. Her ideal environment is one where she can receive the focused attention because if you don't give that to her you're dead. If you need a late term abortion though, Pookie is definitely your girl.

💖 Undying Love & Loyalty: Despite her challenges, Pookie has a lot of love to give. That is, if you are her food or toys. She has insane resource guarding tendencies that are so bad no one at the shelter is willing to even try to take stuff away from her. If she has something, it's as good as dead to you.

🏠 Home Wrecker: Before Pookie came to the Casino she was taken in by a nice family (of unsuspecting victims). She was able to stay for a short time until she started attacking her rescuer's husband. Ladies if you wanna keep yourselves single Pookie can help!
