“The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” is one of the most popular musical comedies produced by U.S. school theater programs. Hijinks ensue when real audience members are invited on stage to “compete” in the spelling bee alongside the actors. For Liberty High School’s Featured Production Number at our 2026 Nevada High School Musical Theater Awards ( ), the cast got creative and incorporated a few students from other schools to be the guest spellers thrown into the “Pandemonium!”

To celebrate and our love of letters, enjoy this new video of LHS’ hilarious performance — can you spot any familiar faces joining them on stage? Watch now on YouTube at: bit.ly/nvhsmtabee

Stay tuned for Spotlight Award winner Eliana Abramson’s full solo performance as Olive Ostrovsky coming up on !
