CASTING NOTICE — S.A.M. (Feature Film)

We are actively casting for S.A.M., a supernatural horror-thriller filming in the Las Vegas / Southwest Nevada area the week of June 14–22.
This is a paid production. SAG performers welcome.
OPEN ROLES:
FATHER — Male, 50s. The patriarch of a home that is not a home. Composed, controlled, dangerous beneath a surface of calm warmth. Must be comfortable with intense dramatic material and psychological menace. No raised voices — just control.
SAM — Child, male or female identifying, ages 9–12. A foster child placed in the wrong house. Quiet, observant, and guarded. Must be emotionally present and comfortable with serious dramatic scenes. Guardian required on set.
YOUNGER SISTER — Child, female identifying, ages 7–10. She is eight years old and has already chosen her side. Requires genuine stillness and an uncanny quality — not performance, just presence. Natural instinct preferred over stage school technique.
THE SOLDIER — Male, 40s. A survivor of something he has not fully recovered from. Weathered, controlled, physically grounded. Must be comfortable with firearm handling on camera and emotionally exposed material.
THE PALE MAN — Any gender, 40s–60s. A presence more than a character. Stillness, physical authority, and a face worth watching in silence. Dialogue minimal.
WORKER A / WORKER B — Any gender, 30s–50s. Two family services caseworkers who believe they are doing good. Professional with an undercurrent of unease. Worker B has a pivotal closing scene that carries significant emotional weight.
