For three years while my husband attended law school, my little family and I lived in Tennessee. Those were some of the happiest years of my life. Every Saturday night during the summer in downtown Nashville there was dancing in the park with a big band, lantern lights, and snow cones. As the sun set and the fireflies came out, people of every age would spread out blankets and dance together. As I
thought about a name for my shop I couldn’t help but be drawn back to those nights of dancing, sitting on a quilt with family and friends, and watching the fireflies flicker in the trees. Those firefly nights were full of simple pleasures like twinkling lights, love, and a sense of belonging and home; they offered a little bit of happiness for everyone to enjoy. It is my hope that every item I make creates a little bit of those same feelings for you and your loved ones; your very own firefly night.
