I want a hot husband who worships me and kisses my feet, I want to be a Deaf Broadway star and make Bollywood cameos and I want to option my screenplays and make movies again when I have money. But right now I have NONE of that and that’s okay 🌹

I’m still very happy that I am performing, writing, creating, traveling and meeting dope people everyday of my life 💙🦚💙🦚

We are excited to screen a short narrative film called [BLEEP] ‘EM! written and directed by Andrés “Flash” Otalora, a Deaf filmmaker. The film is in ASL, English, and Spanish with English subtitles.

🎥 Synopsis: Flash, a struggling screenwriter suddenly under immense pressure to submit a script by an impossible deadline, comes face to face with his incessant perfectionism while navigating an emotional roller coaster, and must make the ultimate choice that will either make or break his career.

THANK YOU TEXAS FOR A MIGHTY WARM WELCOME! ❤️‍🔥🌹 It was my first time performing in the DFW area and I’m happy to say the audience at FemmeFest was soooo friendly! I had fun performing my Bollywood Burlesque act (burlesque, Indian culture and sign language) and meeting new people in Denton.

Big thanks to FemmeFest for having me, a fully deaf brown girl, perform in an amazing lineup of incredible performers, and of course, I also thank the crew members and volunteers for helping me with visual cues so I could do my act onstage and for helping out with other things.

I’ll be back in Texas next weekend for REELpoetry Film Festival in Houston 🎥
