We had a cold front here on Monday. Temperatures plummeted from 101 to 96F. In honor of this not-quite-cardigan shift I edited this goddesses image to scream “ice queen”. (And the hamsters in my head are now telling me I want ice cream.). These glitter shoots are super messy but equally fun and beautiful.

When you’re my kid you have to be ready at a second’s notice to go try out a shoot idea. Luckily is (almost) always game. Body tape spur of the moment impulse here. I can def see this is something I’d like to do again. Spend significantly less than the 7000k hrs did designing and applying but we were in a hurry. My light stands ( and .bider) were v. thirsty.

and I shot a few times together in Las Vegas. This shot came after a marathon day of shooting for me and posing for her. We started so early in the morning it was still yesterday for all intents and purposes. Doran muscled through the heat and sand like aa pro and appreciate she was willing to give it her all for the shot. This image to me reflects an exhale....a relaxing of the day and letting go of all the driving and posing and pleasing all of us crazy photographers. Thank you, Doran!

I clicked so much with even before we started shooting. Since our physiques are similar I feel like we both understand the blood, sweat and tears and TIME that goes into it. We didn’t talk about it but we probably both know what it’s like to walk around as a woman with muscle. A lot of looks, a lot of dumb comments. Sometimes I feel like I could join the circus at any moment (probably need more tattoos first tho). So I get that we want to be tough as nails and hard, but we also want to be and show that a muscled female body can be fu***ng sexy and hot. And not in the perverted IG DM world.

Playing pool and the original sin. 🤏 close lol. We were being super careful not to sit on the felt but by the end of the day I’m pretty sure this pool table had been violated anyway. Sorry for the extra typos this week. Got my nails done last week and it turns out I’m pretty functionally disabled with long nails. Who knew?
