Making a few fall inspired gift bags.

I started with ivory cloth napkins, cut them down, frayed the edges, and grunged them up with a bit of coffee stain before inking with fall stencils from my stash. To create the pocket, I secured three edges down (with hot glue) on these cute, but plain, burlap gift bags. Simple florals stuffed into the outer pocket, and some neutral colored ribbon give the bags a finished look.

For those who asked, here’s an old tutorial I made on rolling a baby washcloth into a teddy bear.

A little Fall 🌾 introduction in mami’s room. Took the summer flowers out of her tree and swapped them out for this handsome happy fella.

This cute scarecrow has wire in his arms and legs, making him perfect to pose. The Autumn banner was a separate purchase, but adds sweet fall charm.

When so you start decorating for the Halloween/Fall season?

Wanted to wait to post until after it was actually gifted. It’s my first ever baby crate box 💕

Dunno what rock I’ve been living under, but I saw one of these for the first time last month. My girlfriend Phyllis made one for her grandson’s babyshower. It was jaw-dropping amazing, and she even personalized it with his name 🩵. Such a beautiful way to package a gift for baby.

So, as you guessed, I just had to try my hand at putting one together. Love love how it turned out. I purchased the crate on Amazon, and it did have wooden letters to paint and add a name, but i chose to attack one of the included wooden rounds. I’ll link the Amazon storefront in the comments in case anyone is interested (I’m NOT an affiliate, it’s just what I ordered).

Got her done 💗🎀 … rolling the muslin burp cloths into little teddy bears gave me a run for my money, but got them done 💕

Got to meet John Mark, and sooo many other makers at the Petals & Plumes event hosted by Angie a few weeks ago 🥰.

John Mark taught us how to make his signature 5- ribbon bow. It’s so big it’s larger than my head 😆.

Made these cracker crisps using my sourdough discard today. The hubs has been asking for them for a week, so I decided to bake some today and share the recipe 😊. If you make sourdough bread, this is a great recipe to use up your discard.

4 Ingredient Everything Bagel Crackers
> 1 cup sourdough discard
> 2 tablespoons melted butter
> 1/4 teaspoon salt
> Everything Bagel seasoning
…Preheat Oven to 350°

Mix together your sourdough discard, butter, and salt. Line a large baking pan with parchment paper. Pour your mixture into the lined baking pan and use a rubber spatula (or other preferred kitchen tool) to thinly (and as evenly as possible) spread out your cracker mixture. Sprinkle on a generous amount of Everything Bagel seasoning, then place in the oven for 10 minutes.

After 10 minutes, pull your pan out and score your crackers (across and down), so they will easily and evenly cut apart after baking (I use a metal pastry scraper, but you could use a knife, pizza or pasta cutter).

Bake for an additional 10-18 minutes. Remove from the pan & cool on a rack lined with parchment paper. They will continue to harden/crisp up while cooling, so do NOT stack until completely cooled. Once cooled you can stack & store.

6 Ingredient Cheddar Cheese Crackers
> 1 cup sourdough discard
> 2 tablespoons melted butter
> 1 cup freshly shredded cheddar cheese
> 1/4 teaspoon salt
> 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
> 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
…Preheat Oven to 350°

Mix together all ingredients, then spread thinly onto a large parchment lined baking sheet, place in preheated oven, and follow baking & scoring instructions as listed above. Note: if you find these aren’t as thin or crisp, you may need to leave them to bake just a few minutes longer, just keep a close eye so they don’t burn.
