I have been washed in the invigorating streams of the Virgin River Narrows 😍

The 3.5 hour trek through rocky, sometimes waist high waters netted us a frolick in the Orderville Canyon waterfall. Off the beaten path, we had this little slice of paradise all to ourselves for the duration of our visit!

Imagining our native ancestors living here and having this as their backyard has me feeling so grateful that we still have access to amazing places such as this. It has taken millennia to form this canyon; many floods, rock slides, freezes and thaws have carved this land into what we see today. It was a challenge getting back here as many obstacles block the river. Huge boulders and slippery slopes make this path impassable for those not up for a challenge. Should you make it all the way, a spiritual experience awaits you.
