Dear Friends of the Summit members,

Please save the date!
On December 1, at 4 pm, prior to band night, our club will be holding our annual meeting and election of 2024 officers. The agenda will include our 2023 reports, voting on a revised charter, and collecting 2024 dues.

Any resident who is a member in good standing may run for office. Please submit your name to [email protected]. You may also volunteer for office at our meeting. Our current board is willing to serve again if others to do not come forward.

Please also come prepared to pay dues for 2024. We remain a bargain at $1. Our dues go to support our efforts to bring quality music to the Summit and keep open communication with Community Services and our members. Nearly every show is sold out. We now have a remodeled venue with a new menu to enjoy for years to come.

Our Friends of the Summit Sun City Summerlin Happy Hour was a great way to spend a fall summer night! We were entertained by Joe Buonanno, who kept us dancing and singing til we were kicked out by the staff!

Here are the guidelines from our Executive Director Mitzi Mills that we will be following for Summit events. We need 100% compliance to be able to offer you future events.

Summit Restaurant and Snack Bar Events: Vaccinated and Unvaccinated must wear masks when entering the building housing the Summit Restaurant and Snack Bar and must keep their mask on until seated at a table eating or drinking. Masks must be worn at all times by everyone unless seated at a table eating or drinking. Those providing entertainment, while performing are not required to wear masks, but we encourage those not singing or playing an instrument that requires the use of the mouth to do so. Anytime you leave your table for any reason you are required to wear a mask, this includes going to the snack bar, bar, visiting other tables, dancing, going to the restroom or leaving the Summit. When not performing all entertainers are required to have a mask on unless they are seated at a table, eating or drinking.
