This art was actually started for the Bluesky art prompt red wed(nesday) but because I finally wore nail polish for the first time since literally like September...Its big deal to me because this form of expression has also been a weekly right hand physical therapy of sorts that I have neglected for almost a year and I'm glad to bring it back...because it's such a big deal I just wanted to finish it before Wednesday THIS IS :

Been a bit since I finished a more tedious artwork. Finally been getting back on Bluesky again and trying to do an art prompt here and there for real the art community is still active but it definitely needs my help 😔😔. The prompt shadowplay in the blueskyartshow feed was from 2 weeks ago on Saturday! This is on 4x6 Sketch paper done with India ink and ballpoint pens and it will be in my Gallery Space in for 50$ this week. It genuinely felt quite good to proper get a more detailed art FINISHED for the first time in a while!

Thought of this morning ...over consuming visual media mostly just has hurt my attention span for EVERYTHING else productive in my life. I remember when I was reading more last year and in 2024 I could retain more information and could VISUALIZE what I was reading. I feel like reading is a tool to work the l visualisation muscles with cause there will be times that comprehension skills will be needed and no video or sometimes even audio will be present so could you visualize what is on paper in print or text on screen? People SEE so much that they forget things...people visualize elsewhere to the last visual media form or anticipate it and the understanding of the text media or print goes out the window. If you aren't seeing where you're supposed to be going what you are supposed to be doing it's maybe because you SEE countless ways others do it ONLY instead of reading about it maybe taking notes and forming your own thoughts ideas prayers intentions etc and reading those back. Could you read something somebody else or you wrote and comprehend it and visualize it? Could you sit with it for a minute or two or even 10 without internally or externally scrolling so quickly? The video is pixelly on purpose
