Aries is the coolest stallion! And knowing at the age as young as 3, he went through some truly traumatic stuff makes us even more proud of what he has become ! 🥰 He’s the voice of the Gladius herd (if you’ve ever been around when we feed, you know why 🤣)

Before and after of our Horse of the Week, Aries 🔥

The first photo was taken when we brought him home in 2014 as a three-year-old stallion. The second was taken this past fall.

We found Aries while we were on the road in Austin, Texas. At the time, he had very little training, but we saw something special in him. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of developing him in multiple disciplines, and watching him grow into the horse he is today.

The funny thing is, the older he gets, the sweeter he gets. ❤️

Our beloved stud muffin has come a long way, and we’re so grateful he’s part of the Gladius family.

And honestly? We think he’s beautiful in both colors. 😍

What do you think?

This week’s Horse Spotlight belongs to Aries. 🤍

Around here, he’s known by many names, but sometimes you’ll hear us call him Studmuffin.

Aries is one of those horses who knows exactly who he is. Powerful, handsome, and just a little bit convinced the world revolves around him. The truth is… he might not be wrong.

His hobbies include, being gorgeous, galloping in his sleep, and getting butt scratches.

We’re incredibly lucky to share life with this special guy. Have you seen him in all of his glory or gotten some studly cuddles?

Our Horse Spotlight this week is Kayman. 🖤

Majestic, powerful, and endlessly talented, Kayman is one of those horses who leaves an impression wherever he goes. Whether he’s performing under the lights or simply standing in the paddock looking like he stepped out of a fairytale, he carries himself with a presence that’s impossible to ignore.

Over the years, he’s mastered countless skills, partnered with so many of us, and helped create some truly unforgettable moments. But beyond his talent, it’s his heart, kindness, and steady spirit that make him so special.

We feel incredibly lucky to have spent so many years with this beautiful soul. Horses like Kayman don’t come around often.

Here’s to our gentle giant, our black beauty, and one of the greatest partners we could ever ask for. 🖤✨

Yoga at the ranch returns through the end of June. 🌵✨

An hour to step away from the noise, put your bare feet on the earth, breathe deeper, and remember what matters. Surrounded by horses, desert skies, and a community of kind humans, these classes have become one of my favorite parts of the week.

🐴🌙 Dates and times have shifted a bit, so be sure to check the updated schedule before planning your class.

Registration is required. If a class is canceled or rescheduled due to weather, we’ll only be able to notify those who are registered.

See you at the ranch. ✨

We asked Kaymans last owner Yossi Martonovich to share a story about Kayman❤️ here is what he shared:
“Kayman is perhaps the smartest horse I ever worked with. He can “read” you, the trainer, much faster and better than you could “read” him. He is a very talented horse. Riding him, I could perform many high level exercises like piaffe, canter pirouettes, canter flying changes, etc. But …… when you are on the ground 30 feet away from him on a lunge line, he figures pretty quick that you don’t have the means to ask him to do what he doesn’t want to do. I remember chasing him from the ground all over the arena trying to convince him to canter on the large circle. He just looked at me like saying “make me”. Oh well, after a while I stuck to riding him which is great fun and rewarding”

We also asked his wife Noel Martonovich to share a story and she shared this:
I remember when we went to look at him, he was very handsome so we wanted to see his canter. Since he was a carriage horse, we couldn’t do it in harness so we turned him loose in an indoor arena and Yossi chased him around. Yossi got tired chasing and all he got was 3 strides of canter and lots of extended trot. We should have known then that he wouldn’t be a vaulting horse.

Kayman is definitely a smart guy.. and at times very stubborn! But he’s amazingly talented and he definitely holds a high star spot amongst the horses of Gladius! ❤️❤️

Hey Vegas !

What are your top 3…did we make the cut ?

We decided to ask our performers what their top 3 shows were in Vegas and so far, our show has been mentioned each time 🤣

How do YOU think we compare to shows in the strip?

🐴 Gladius Spotlight: Kayman

This week’s featured horse is Kayman.

Kayman came to us as an 18-hand Percheron and quickly became one of the pillars of our herd. Powerful yet gentle, steady yet expressive, he has a way of capturing attention the moment he steps into the arena.

These clips are from our act Lyra, where Kayman’s grace and presence take center stage. While his size is impressive, it’s his heart, patience, and willingness that make him truly special.

(PS we still need a name for this act!)

The horses are the soul of Gladius, and Kayman is a perfect example of why. We are so grateful for every performance, every lesson, and every moment we’ve shared with this incredible horse. ❤️

Thank you Tiffany Bonnell for the video🙏🏻
