George’s Greek Café Hosts One-Night-Only Karaoke World Championships USA Qualifier in Lakewood. The Parents and the Kids can compete!

The search for the next Karaoke World Championships USA (KWCUSA) champion comes to Lakewood for one special night as George's Greek Cafe hosts a one-night-only KWCUSA Qualifier Tournament on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

Hosted by Karen Cobb of Kacey’s Karaoke, this exciting event will feature both the KWCUSA Junior Division (ages 5-17) and the Adult Solo Division (18+), giving singers of all experience levels an opportunity to showcase their talent and take the next step toward the 2026 KWCUSA National Finals in Las Vegas.

The Karaoke World Championships USA is entering its 24th year of discovering and developing vocal talent across the country. Qualifiers from coast to coast are competing for a chance to advance through state and national competitions and ultimately represent Team USA on the world stage at the KWC Global Music Contest.

In addition to the competition, attendees can enjoy several special promotions throughout the evening:

**SAN MATEO, CA** — The search for the next global vocal powerhouse is landing right in Northern California.

McGovern’s Bar is officially locking in as a host venue for the Karaoke World Championships USA (KWCUSA) qualifiers, giving local singers a shot at local legendary status and a ticket to the world stage.

For 24 years, the Karaoke World Championships have brought together elite talent from over 30 countries to compete on one massive world stage.

Now, the journey begins in San Mateo.
The Stakes Are High!!

This isn’t your average Friday night sing-along. Top performers from these qualifying rounds will advance directly to the Northern California Final this July.
From there, the reigning NorCal KEC Champion will win an trip to Las Vegas (Hotel & Air Fare) to compete in the KWCUSA National Finals from August 10-12th at the Composer's Room!

The road to the 2026 KWCUSA Nevada State Finals is almost over.

Only TWO Nevada venues remain where singers can still earn their shot at advancing. A last-minute opportunity may still emerge, but right now the window is closing fast.

THURSDAY, JUNE 11 Jason Aldean's Kitchen + Bar Live Band Karaoke begins at 8 PM

Sing with a live band, compete for your place in KWCUSA, and experience one of the most exciting qualifying rounds of the season. Arrive early to warm up and get ready for the spotlight. Complimentary valet parking is available when validated by management.

ALSO THURSDAY, JUNE 11 Horse Trailer Hideout Venue Finals 8 PM

The best singers from Horse Trailer Hideout will battle for advancement at the HTH Venue Finals. Come support the finalists, enjoy open karaoke before and after the competition, and see who earns their place in the Nevada State Finals. Happy Hour starts at 10 PM.

Who Will Become the Next Karaoke World Champion?

The final KWCUSA Video Round of the 2026 season has concluded, and now it's time to reveal who advances to the 2026 KWCUSA Video Finals.

Join us Sunday, June 14 at 3PM EST / 12PM PST for the KWCUSA Summer Video Round Showcase & Results Show, streaming live on the KWCUSA YouTube Channel.

The nation's top Adult Soloists (18+) will battle for the title of 2026 KWCUSA Video Champion and a trip to the KWCUSA National Finals in Las Vegas, where the journey toward becoming the next KWCUSA World Champion continues.

The top Junior Soloists (5-17) will compete for a hotel stay with a parent or guardian at the National Finals and the opportunity to earn the first KWCUSA Junior Gold Medal since 2007.

For 24 years, KWCUSA has been discovering exceptional talent and providing singers a pathway from local stages to the world stage.
