KWCUSA Announces Southern California Regional Finalists from George's Greek Qualifier

LAKEWOOD, Calif. — The road to Las Vegas continues as five talented singers have officially earned their spots in the Karaoke World Championships USA (KWCUSA) Southern California Regional Finals following an exciting qualifier event hosted by Karen Cobb at George's Greek Café in Lakewood, California.

The competition showcased an impressive mix of vocal talent, artistry, and stage presence as singers battled for advancement in one of the final qualifying opportunities of the 2026 KWCUSA season.

Advancing to the Southern California Regional Finals are:

1st Place – Rosy Donovan
"If I Ain't Got You" – Alicia Keys

2nd Place – Cassandra Anderson
"To Tell the Truth" – India Arie

3rd Place – Angelica Dukes
"I Will Always Love You" – Whitney Houston

4th Place – RJ Bernstein
"Come Together" – Gary Clark Jr.

5th Place – Jonardana Jonnada
"If I Can Dream" – Elvis Presley

These finalists now move on to the Southern California Regional Finals, where they will compete against top singers from across the region for a coveted trip to Las Vegas and a chance to perform at the 2026 KWCUSA National Finals.

The KWCUSA National Finals will bring together elite vocal talent from across the United States as singers continue their quest to represent Team USA at the Karaoke World Championships World Finals.

KWCUSA is the longest-running international singing competition of its kind, providing performers from local stages the opportunity to compete on a national and global level.

Congratulations to all of the advancing finalists and a special thank you to Karen Cobb, Kacey's Karaoke, George's Greek Café, the judges, and all of the singers who made the event a tremendous success.

Can you believe it everyone?!?!

We are in the final 2 weeks of the KWCUSA Competition season for 2026!!!

This season has sped by and we have seen and heard so many talented singers from all across the country both in our live audition rounds and in our video rounds. We are getting closer to finding out who will be coming to the national finals in Las Vegas from around the nation.

North Carolina has already selected their teams for both the SOLO (18+) and the JUNIORS (5-17) and will be spending the next few weeks doing fundraising and group events to try to make sure the whole team can get there.

Our open Video auditions have ended and those singers are now working on their final entry to find out who will advance to the national level as Team Video 2026 for both SOLO (18+) and JUNIORS (5-17)

With those spots filled we now have just a few states left still hosting open LIVE auditions= CA, TX, NV, & WA.

George’s Greek Café Hosts One-Night-Only Karaoke World Championships USA Qualifier in Lakewood. The Parents and the Kids can compete!

The search for the next Karaoke World Championships USA (KWCUSA) champion comes to Lakewood for one special night as George's Greek Cafe hosts a one-night-only KWCUSA Qualifier Tournament on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

Hosted by Karen Cobb of Kacey’s Karaoke, this exciting event will feature both the KWCUSA Junior Division (ages 5-17) and the Adult Solo Division (18+), giving singers of all experience levels an opportunity to showcase their talent and take the next step toward the 2026 KWCUSA National Finals in Las Vegas.

The Karaoke World Championships USA is entering its 24th year of discovering and developing vocal talent across the country. Qualifiers from coast to coast are competing for a chance to advance through state and national competitions and ultimately represent Team USA on the world stage at the KWC Global Music Contest.

In addition to the competition, attendees can enjoy several special promotions throughout the evening:
