A vision of a treasury ✨💕

Just about a year ago, I received a vision where Jesus led me down a staircase into a hidden treasury.

He showed me 4 gifts to my left and right. Gifts he was preparing to give me. He showed me each one of them in detail, laying each one in my hands to receive. The gifts on the left were easy for me to accept, but the gifts on the right I hesitated to take ahold of; I felt unworthy, unqualified. Nevertheless, he confirmed these things would be done in my life. After showing me each gift, Jesus led me past all of them to the center of the room where we were both looking in a mirror where he said, “By my hand it will happen, all that I plan to give you will be done; but most importantly I want you to know me as the Bridegroom, I want to know you deeper. That is the most precious gift I can give you.” He clothed me in garments of praise, and we began dancing around the room.

As for the gifts, He opened them for me to see, but the details are to be sealed to the public until each thing comes to pass. One day I’ll be able to share these things publicly, and be able to say, “I knew of these things before they happened, because I serve a King who is not limited by time. “Before they spring forth, he tells me of them.” Isaiah 42:9

I’ll be able to say how I stood by his word, without wavering. I may have bent in the wind, but did not break; my roots have grown too deep to be uprooted. That’s the story I’ll tell one day. Til then, I hold on to his Word, and repeat his promises over and over.

The original took 2 weeks to complete. But I finished this version in 5 hours. This is the biggest canvas I’ve painted on to date, and it was my first time putting my work out there like this. A new voting link will be out soon! 😊

The theme: What does it mean to be United in community?

I’ve entered a concept sketch of my piece titled:

The 7 mountains of Las Vegas

There 7 areas (7 mountains) that make a community function. Media, Family, Arts and Entertainment, Business and Economy, Religion, Education, and Government. Every person is gifted with skills that allow them to operate on one or more of those 7 mountains. When we come together with our different skills, our community functions in a healthy way.

In this painting, you’ll find images that represent each of the seven mountains, as well as images that represent people coming together from different backgrounds or walks of life.

For Media: a news woman
For family: a house
For Arts: the Smiths Center
For Economy: the Nissan car
For Education: CSN and UNLV
For Religion: the Dove holding a scroll (a message of hope)
For Government: the Nevada Seal, and flags.

Symbols of unity: the cosmopolitan hotel - representing Las Vegas as a cosmopolitan of cultures. The golden knights Jersey on the Statue of Liberty because they brought our community together in 2017.
When we use our skills to build each other up, we remain United as a Community.
