I just found probably the best dinner deal in town! It's a place called Rustic House. It's on Eastern and Silverado Ranch Blvd. In the Target parking lot. On Wed and Sat you can get a steak and lobster tail for $25 and on Sunday 1/2 price steak. The place was very busy but the service and the food were great. Plus lots of happy hour special. Huge TV's for watching the game and a bar with gaming if you want to try to win a little $$. The Rustic House at Silverado Ranch is the FB page.

I just went to a new cafe called 85 degrees C on Stephanie Street in Henderson. It was one of the best cafe's I've been to in the area. They have both savory and sweet selections from ham and cheese baked in pastry to red bean buns, cookies and croissants and the best Basque cheesecake. I also took home some lemon cakes which here light as clouds and not too sweet. The coffee and teas were perfect. Not a ton of seating but everything is individually packaged for take home. You grab a tray, make your selections and you're good to go. They also have whole cakes and slices and a great selection of hot and cold beverages! If you love sweet treats that aren't too sweet, this is your place!
