Don't Tell Mama, after 19yrs will close its doors permanently on Saturday, February 14th.
I have tonight, Friday and the next Tuesday & Friday as my final evenings!!!
Don't Tell Mama was the first music bar I walked into when I moved to Las Vegas again back on 2016 and it was SO much fun. Then in December 2020 (after they moved to their new location) my friend Colte asked me to sub for him on a few nights. Then I heard that the previous Tuesday pianist was quitting and I texted Minh (the owner) and said "I'll see you Tuesday"...to which he replied "Ok." and Ive played there every since.
I have loved my time at DTM, Ive made some amazing friends that have changed my life forever, friends that will continue long after the next two weeks.
Thank you for singing with us, with me, for letting myself and my friends sing for you. Thank you to Joanna & Minh for trusting me and having me these last few years, I will miss my nights here with my friends so much.
We have loved bringing live music to your lives and for giving you a stage for yourself to sing!! This place was so unique that way and Ive loved getting to play for so many tourists, regulars who became my friends and so many more.
We love you and we appreciate all of you.
There are two more weeks to come sing with us and drink with us!!!!
Tonight is the first of my last four shifts here at Dont Tell Mama, I'll be here Tuesdays and Fridays, my last Friday will be the 13th (which seems very fitting for me somehow...)
