Twice a month at The Space, Mark Shunock gathers an eclectic cast of musical guests, variety acts and special guests for 90 minutes of entertainment, conversation and a lot of laughs. The mission of Mondays Dark is to raise $10K in 90 minutes for different nonprofits across Southern Nevada. To date, Mondays Dark has partnered with over 200 local nonprofits raising over $2 million for the Vegas Valley. Learn more at mondaysdark.com

Every great dancer started somewhere. 💫🖤

Maybe it was a free class in an underserved school. A scholarship that made training possible when a family couldn't afford it. A student matinee that sparked something inside a child who had never seen live ballet before.

That's what Nevada Ballet Theatre does — every single day — for over 20,000 students across Las Vegas every year. 🩰✨

For over 50 years, Nevada Ballet has been one of Las Vegas' most beloved community treasures
— the Resident Ballet Company at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts, home to the premier ballet and dance school in Southern Nevada, and the driving force behind programs that give children from underserved communities free in-school dance instruction, scholarships, and life-changing opportunities they'd never otherwise have.

Their Future Dance program has been doing this since 1993. Over 200 dance scholarships given annually. Thousands of lives shaped by the power of movement, discipline, and art. 🩰🖤 And on June 22nd — Mondays Dark is showing up for all of it.

We're raising $10,000 for Nevada Ballet Theatre — because this community believes that every child in Las Vegas deserves access to the arts. Not just the ones who can afford it. Every single one. 💫
