Movie Review - My Old Ass
Love this title!! And it has Aubrey Plaza who i enjoy watching. Imagine after your stoned on schrums your 20 year older self appears to you and you talk in general about the future you have. The only thing older you really makes clear is to stay away from a guy called Chad! Nice tale of finding your first male love and how your future self could be a little over bearing. Take the time to see and enjoy another Plaza experience!!

Movie Review - Joker: folie a deux
Saw the movie with 4 other people at the early afternoon showing, normal screen (IMAX gives me migraines) set in Gotham of the late 60's and staring Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga in what I would call a dark musical. Joaquin does an amazing Joker looking at this life as he goes on trial for murder and Lady Gaga plays the Joker setting herself in his life. Music is used so well in the movie that I expect Academy awards and is an actual movie soundtrack I would go buy.

Not for kids the film runs a little over 2 hours but did a good job keeping me engaged. Take a look, not your family marvel Joker but a well put together movie I plan to see again.

Movie: Sing Sing
When you think of Sing Sing Maximum Security Prison in NY State the basis for a compelling movie is not what comes to mind. But this movie does that, and uses in most part the actual inmates to tell it's story. It tells the story of the Rehabilitation Through the Arts program in the prison as they go from one performance to another. In the time between when they work to stage the next show you see the interaction between these men. You also see the feelings and longings they have. But together by Divine G, Divine Eye, Greg Kwedar and Clint Bentley this movie completed in 2023 and opening August 2 is a must see, because if you miss it now you'll have to wait till after the awards season.
