We brought it back because it still matters.
What the Constitution Means to Me by Heidi Schreck sparked something real in our audiences conversation, reflection, even debate that didn’t end when the lights came up.
Because this play doesn’t just present history.
It asks something of you.
It creates a space where the vision of mutuality becomes the ethos - where audience and artist meet, where voices matter, where the outcome isn’t fixed. In fact, the audience determines the winner of the debate.
And somehow, in the middle of all that weight, there’s levity.
Laughter. Recognition. A chance to look at the Constitution - and your own life - through a lens that’s both honest and human.
This play isn’t afraid to ask where the Constitution has failed people.
But it also dares to imagine what it could be.
That’s why we’re bringing it into libraries.
Into shared, civic spaces.
Into the heart of community.
Because this isn’t just theatre.
It’s a conversation we’re still in.
It’s uplifting.
It’s alive.
It’s a call to action.
