Festival of Communities

Hello,

The Student Diversity & Social Justice staff are deeply saddened to announce that Festival of Communities 2020 is cancelled.

This has been a tough decision as this would be the first time in the 34-year run that Festival of Communities will not take place. We understand the concerns regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), and the health and safety of our community is of utmost importance. This cancellation will impact our community, those who make Festival possible- UNLV student and staff employees, student organizations, community partners, and festival attendees.

For those of you who registered for a booth, we have already begun the refund process. Please note that all cash or check deposits will take approximately 4-6 weeks to process through Accounts Payable and will be mailed to the address on file to the person who paid for the deposit. If you paid via credit card, your refund will be returned via direct deposit, and the process depends on your bank. If you have any questions regarding this please email Risha Gator ([email protected]).
