Today, January 31, 2025, marks the International Day of the Magicians.
This day commemorates Giovanni Bosco, an Italian priest who lived during a significant period in history.
While this day honors magicians, it is not related to National Magic Day, which is celebrated on October 31st.
National Magic Day was established by the Society of American Magicians to honor Harry Houdini, who died on October 31, 1926.
