I just added two new prints to the Etsy shop, “Clouds, Aspen and Pine” and “Desert Afternoon Light.” It’s been a busy few weeks with finishing a commission portrait, updating my website and shop branding, and preparing for some new projects coming up. The kids are also officially on summer break, so here we go! 🥳😅

“Rosy Reflections at Red Rock” 8x10 inches, acrylic on canvas. I was first drawn to the image because of the interesting direction of shapes, lines and Bridge Mountain, but I definitely had to create some colors and values to make it work, and to create a mood I wanted to portray. "Coconut and Mango" 9x12 inches, acrylic on canvas.

My daughter has been asking me to paint a portrait of her guinea pigs, Coconut and Mango and I finally got to doing it this past week.

Guinea pigs are soo freaking cute lol. They are definitely up there for me in the top cutest animals. Our guinea pigs have complete opposite personalities. Coconut is very brave, curious, sometimes aggressive. Mango is very timid, shy, quite a scaredy-cat.
