Double Trouble

My adopted son has always been my inspiration. As a single dad, my subject was always one parent and one child, creating a world of love, joy, and safety.

In 2023, I was invited to display my art in a gallery in London. My son was about to turn 18, and knowing that this might be our "last hoorah", I brought him and a friend for a two-week, unforgettable trip of a lifetime.

Wanting to create unique work for the show, I thought about an iconic protective parent, Princess Diana. "Double Trouble" was my way of honoring her and the ensuring love she had for her sons.

Golden Hour

As an artist, I don't paint only what I see. I paint what I feel. This sunset represents hope, renewal, and the quiet promise that tomorrow brings another beginning. Every stroke of the palette knife and brush adds texture and movement, mirroring the way life is layered with both challenges and beauty.
At this stage in my life, I'm preparing for a new chapter, and this painting reflects that journey. The glowing light across the water symbolizes following a path forward with optimism, even when the destination isn't fully visible. I hope it reminds others that beauty often appears when we slow down long enough to notice it.
