Autumn Simone Morgan, born and raised in Vallejo, California, around 7 years old she moved on from wanting to be a pediatrician to wanting to be a cartoon. She was in all the church plays growing up, but did not have access to the arts growing up. After theor army careers Autumn and her husband moved to Las Vegas. Fall 2020 is when Autumn started in the theatre program as undergrad at UNLV. For the first time in her adult life she was around people who “got” her.
She performed in her first show ever through the student ran Second Stage (now warehouse theatre) in an original work Antigone: The House of Oedipus as Ismene in Spring 2022. After earning her B.A., she was asked to come back to join the graduate program!

The last three years have been a wild ride. Among the characters Autumn has explored, she had the privilege of gaining the new role of mother to her beautiful daughter.
She has had the privilege to work on shows through NCT with so many amazing artists and people she now considers family: Pride and Prejudice as Elizabeth Bennet, Hedda Gabler as Juliana Tesman, Passage as H, Murder on the Orient Express as Mary Debenham, Mr. Burns as Maria/Bart, A Christmas Carol 1941 as Mrs. Fezziwig/Kate, American La Ronde as the Student, Violet as Landlady/Lula Buffington, She Kills Monsters as Vera/Evil Gabbie among others

Autumn has also served as an instructor for Advanced Scene Study courses and T.A. for advanced acting styles like Comedy of Manners. She taught Introduction to Acting in her last semester.

“Thank you UNLV, NCT, and the theatre community in Las Vegas for giving me an opportunity to experience things beyond my wildest imagination.”-Autumn

Welcome to the Spotlight for Graduate Cohorts, where we celebrate the achievements, journeys, and milestones of our graduate community

I am proud of my time here at UNLV. It was a long journey and yet it already feels like a lifetime ago. I grew up in a small town in Arizona where I first fell in love with performance, starting acting in 6th grade. I got my bachelors at Utah Tech in St. George UT, where I got many wonderful opportunities such as performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. After college I left the deserts of the southwest for the first time to move to Seattle where I spent nearly a decade performing as an actor, a clown, an aerialist, a burlesque artist, and even beginning my journey as a stuntman.

I want to thank UNLV for its wonderful support, its mentors, and for the opportunity to expand my skill set. During my time I was lucky enough to be supported by the university in continuing my training as both a stage combatant and as a stuntman, attending many workshops and earning certifications from the Society of American Fight directors, Dueling Arts International, and even was afforded the time away from my studies to work as an actor/stuntman in an upcoming film: Norse Game. I plan to take the skill that i honed here and pursue work in the New York and regional markets.

Drew could not be more thankful and grateful for the time he spent here at UNLV. Drew acted in numerous productions on the NCT stage, including Lloyd in Mud, Colonel Arbuthnot in Murder on the Orient Express, and Eilert Lovborg in Hedda Gabler, to name a few. During his time at UNLV, Drew was fortunate enough to work as the Fight Director for the Shorts all three years, while also assisting Sean Boyd on violence for almost every NCT production during his stay. Drew was afforded incredible opportunities thanks to UNLV, like certifying to Intermediate Actor Combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors, and writing and producing (with lots of help) his own play at the CFA Art Walk Festival in 2025. Drew would like to thank his family for believing in him, and his partner for her unwavering support and encouragement. After graduating, Drew is currently recording an audiobook to be released in late June, and looking forward to contributing to the Las Vegas arts community before moving to Chicago with his partner, dog, and two cats in 2027.
