Yesterday, a member brought in a talented photographer for a shoot, and we had a great chat before the client arrived. The photographer was curious about how everything worked, so I took him on a tour of the studio, showing him the impressive collection of lights and equipment. He asked if the gear could be rented individually, and I explained that it's all-inclusive for studio use, but available for rental if you'd like to take it to another location. That's the kind of flexibility we offer here - the lights, light treatments, even a Lumix GH5s camera for behind-the-scenes or YouTube recording, along with props like angel wings and our brand-new suspension rig. It's all included.
Later on, the photographer asked about the cost of a bottle of water, and I happily informed him that it's complementary. You see, when I built this studio, I envisioned the experience I would want as a photographer and YouTube creator. I didn't want to haul around equipment, only to find that I couldn't utilize the gear at the studio. As a host, I believe in taking care of people, and that means ensuring they're comfortable and well-hydrated during their shoot. Charging for every drink would change the whole vibe, and honestly, the few bucks I'd make isn't worth sacrificing the relaxed and creative atmosphere I want to foster here.
