How many guns do cops think you need?
Yesterday I had contact with JCPD three times at their request due to a suspicious vehicle non emergency call. My permit and defense tool were presented. All three remained with me after the interview for an interval to ensure the vehicle had left the area. One asked permission to clear and inspect it.
All showed appreciation. All constitutional none amused by armed untrained.
All told me that trained people who want to train others need more guns. Like me. Referring to civilians and directly to their training.
How many?
CCW at least two. One is likely to be impounded if you need it or produce it in self defense.
To hunt? Three. Rifle, shotgun, .22
A shotgun is enough for many.
Home defense? Two. All life matters. Mechanical parts splatters.
To teach basic safety, flintlock, cap and ball, single action, lever action, pump action, bolt action, semi auto striker fired, double action only, single action only. Double single action hammer fired examples as well.
Familiar with all. Owned all. Not at the same time. Every firearm a citizen can encounter.
The officer that inspected the weapon is considering it for off duty. Cult .45 duty pistol, same caliber as my personal. He only has one ccw. He knows better and said so.
I should also own a 1911 now. My highest qualification score. 297 of 300. Third highest was an m9 pattern Berreta. If I become an instructor, ccw or hunter safety that needs corrected. At least three shotguns. At least one bolt action rifle. Three or four surplus rifles.
There are 120 guns per capita in the U.S. tell me again why your state doesn't teach hands off gun safety k-12. Both officers with children say it is a start.

The knife is legal to conceal but one checked it for length before saying so. I have Delaware and DC legal knives too.
