This is my least favorite part of starting a painting! So UGLY!!! It is actually called the UGLY STAGE where so many will give up, become frustrated, and start over. I tell my students to stick it out. How can it get any worse?😂😝😂

A big thank you to jurist, Dan Marshall, for awarding me the Transparency Award at the Nevada Watercolor Society’s Spring Show. I was unable to attend the reception but look forward to seeing the exhibition at the West Sahara Library in Las Vegas. Stop by to view it! I heard it was a great show! Congrats, too, to all the other award winners and those whose work was juried in.
