Check out this amazing game- I am so thankful to have my art on these cards!

We're so excited to be adding to our collection of artist's cards in the upcoming Chihuahuan Desert Edition of Endless Forms.

Local watercolor and glass artist Kay Gross generously shared her Gambel's Quail watercolor for our very first artist's card, and we're honored to be able to share two more of her pieces - the New Mexico Hairstreak butterfly (our state butterfly), and another crowd favorite desert bird, the Cactus Wren. We'll be revealing 3 more collaborations with some fantastic Cruces artists in the coming weeks. We feel lucky to be able to highlight the work of so many artists, scientists, and photographers who share our love for this unique place.

I am experimenting with Pitt pens in my sketchbook.This might be interesting as a watercolor. The composition is inspired by "The Wave" in Southern Utah.

Doug just made this unique cigar ashtray from steel and then powder coated it for use outside. It holds 2 ci**rs. He also makes whiskey bottle holders seen in the pic behind the ashtray. So many fun ideas in his creative head!

I live in New Mexico, but I have strong ties to San Carlos. Mexico. These paintings are my happy memories of this beautiful place and the Sea of Cortez.

Here are a couple of my watercolors that are abstract and use pen and ink in honor of my sister Pat Morse. She was an amazing artist throughout her life and had a very unique style. Pat was 15 when I came along- so some of my fondest memories are the times I spent watching her paint. She passed away in 2020 and I will always miss her.

It is time for our February home studio show. It is "For the Love of Art" month here in Las Cruces! This weekend, Feb 1st and 2nd, from 10 am to 4 pm at 5306 Redman Road. We will post art week every day so you can see what we do. First is our "Pueblo in the Sun" lighted glass and steel sculpture.

Tomorrow is Small Business Day and the Las Cruces Frame and Art Bazaar- from 10 to 3. Lots of local vendors with great gifts for the Holidays! I have a new "mermaid" sconce along with the Koi. Plus the mini metal wall art. Hope to see you there!

Please join me at Frame and Art Center on Sat. Nov. 30- we will.have small koi sculptures in gorgeous blue glass. I have a few in the kiln right now. I have one on a steel base that my husband Doug made and others that are free standing. They can be used with candles as sconces too. With over 20 local vendors, there should be some amazing gifts for family and friends!
