Michele's Dance Academy Michele's Dance Academy is the leading Performing Arts Academy in Las Cruces Michele's Dance Academy has been a respected Las Cruces Arts Academy for 42 years.

Many of our students have gone on to become successful leaders in the world of professional dance and theatre. Michele's Dance Academy provides training in classical ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, contemporary, ballet folklórico, and musical theatre for all levels of advancement from ages of three through Adult. Class placement is determined by age, individual potential, technical proficiency, maturit

y and self discipline. Our 7,000 square foot building has two spacious studios, wood floors (adaptable for any type of dance) plus large dressing room facilities. Viewing windows and closed circuit television available in the lobby areas. Our instructors are highly trained dancers and have a high level of teaching experience. Our focus is on providing quality dance instruction and providing children with a lifelong appreciation of dance and its beautiful history and culture.

When we closed and Las Cruces Chamber Ballet was transferred to our new home in Hobbs, NM, we established scholarship funds to help future dancers continue pursuing their love of ballet at University of North Carolina School of the Arts and Dance Theatre of Harlem.

To support these funds, we recently went through our archives and would love to share your treasured moments with you! Our collection is limited, but we hope these memories bring joy.
