Tombaugh Gallery

Tombaugh Gallery The mission of the Tombaugh Art Gallery is to reach out to the wider community and support young artists. If you want more info check out the website.

It is a non-profit gallery which is run by volunteers and is an outreach of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Las Cruces. Openings are on the First Friday from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Each year we have a call for artists that are due by September 1. By October the gallery committee decides on the schedule for the next year.

The next "Education Station" activity kit with the Museum of Art will be available on Saturday, June 13, during regular business hours.

"Education Station" explores art through projects inspired by individual artists, art movements, or other fun art topics. In this month's activity, we will be making origami tulips.

The kits are free and will be available at the Museum of Art front desk on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

For more information, contact Bryan Lee, Curator (Education), at [email protected] or (575) 541-2217/TTY 711.

Happy Pride Month!
Every June, communities around the world celebrate Pride Month to honor the LGBTQ+ community, recognize its history, and uplift the ongoing fight for equality and acceptance.
Pride is about more than rainbow flags and celebrations. It is about visibility, community, resilience, and creating a world where everyone can live authentically and safely.

This month, we’ll be exploring the history of Pride, why it matters, and how we can all help build a more inclusive future. Join us as we celebrate love, identity, and the power of being yourself.
