A new year always feels like standing before a blank canvas—full of possibility, a little uncertainty, and the promise of something beautiful. As I look back on the past year, I’m grateful for every moment spent outdoors, every brushstroke, and every connection made through art.

This painting, “Angels Wings,” was inspired by those quiet mornings when the world feels fresh and full of hope. It’s a reminder that even after the longest night, the sun always rises—and with it, new opportunities to create, to grow, and to share.

Thank you for following along, for your encouragement, and for supporting my work. Here’s to a year of creativity, courage, and finding beauty in unexpected places.

We will be celebrating Georgia O'Keeffe's birthday after the documentary Georgia O'Keeffe and the brightness of light which is showing at the fountain theater November 15th through 17th.
