Help me pick out a color palette!
This is for my latest sketch! Color studies for paintings are small, rapid, and simplified studies—often 2x3 to 6x8 inches—focused on exploring color palettes, values, and composition before committing to a larger, finished work. They take a smaller amount of time, allowing an artist to experiment with color relationships and light without the pressure of a full-scale painting!

Process of transferring from parchment paper to watercolor paper! Here I used watercolor pencils so that the lines can be dissolved and be hidden if I don't want hard edges.

Watercolor process in 7 seconds flat.
I love the ethereal vibe of this piece so far. Not sure if I should add color to it or not.. but for now here it is. Please comment and let
me know what you think! (Especially if I should add color or not!)
A few pops of shadow can really transform a portrait.

Trying to find time to paint this last week has been nothing short of impossible. Kids come first ! Can’t wait to finish...

I use parchment paper to draw on so that I don’t destroy my watercolor paper when erasing by rubbing away the cotton fib...
