Hear ye! Hear ye! Good gentles of the realm!

Though the stages of Larkspurshire now stand silent and the music hath faded upon the autumn winds, the memories of those who entertained us still echo throughout our beloved village!

From daring feats of skill and thunderous laughter to enchanting melodies and performances that left us utterly speechless, our talented entertainers have given us moments we shall treasure for years to come!

So we ask thee...

Which performer or performance from the Colorado Renaissance Festival hath left the greatest impression upon thy heart?

Was it a favorite act thou returnest to see year after year? A hilarious moment that still maketh thee laugh? Or perhaps a performance so wondrous that thou simply couldst not look away?

Hear ye! Hear ye! Good gentles of Larkspurshire!

A most curious debate hath arisen within our beloved realm, and we seek THY wisdom to settle it!

Which moment of Faire doth hold the greatest magic?

THE OPENING CANNON!

The thunderous roar! The gates swing wide! A whole day of adventure, merriment, and wonder awaits! Thy heart races, thy spirits soar, and the magic of Larkspurshire lies before thee!

THE CLOSING CANNON!

The sun sinks low, the final songs are sung, and weary feet carry thee toward the gates. Thy coin purse is lighter, thy belly is fuller, and thy heart overfloweth with memories of a day well spent.

TALES FROM THE SLEEPING VILLAGE

They say Larkspurshire is empty.

They are wrong.

The gates have been locked for months. The shops stand dark. Autumn leaves gather upon paths where thousands once walked.

But when October's cold wind moves through the village...

something moves with it.

Footsteps have been heard upon empty lanes.

A candle was seen burning in an upstairs window... though no soul hath entered that building since summer.

Near the Joust Field, steel rings faintly in the darkness.

And some swear that if thou standest outside the gates long enough, thou canst hear laughter drifting from deep within the village.

Not loud.

Not merry.

And growing closer.

So shouldst thou pass near Larkspurshire after nightfall, heed this warning:

If something beyond the gates whispers thy name...

Do not answer.

Larkspurshire sleeps.

But something within her dreams is awake.

The off-season is the perfect time for plotting, sewing, crafting, upgrading, and perhaps convincing thyself that thou absolutely NEEDST another piece of Faire garb.

A new cloak? Boots? Armor? Corset? Hat? Belt covered with seventeen mysterious pouches whose purposes no mortal truly understands?

The Fiftieth Season Approaches!!!

There are seasons remembered.

There are seasons spoken of for years afterward.

And then...

there are seasons that become legend.

For half a century, the gates of Larkspurshire have opened unto the realm.

For FIFTY YEARS, kings and queens have held court beneath these skies. Knights have thundered into battle. Minstrels have filled the lanes with song. Tankards have been raised, friendships forged, children have grown to bring children of their own, and countless tales have become woven into the very stones of our village.

Think upon it, good gentles...

HALF A CENTURY OF LARKSPURSHIRE.

And when these ancient gates open once more, we shall not merely begin another season.

We shall begin the celebration of an extraordinary legacy fifty years in the making.

FIFTY YEARS OF MAGIC.
FIFTY YEARS OF ADVENTURE.
FIFTY YEARS OF MERRIMENT.
FIFTY YEARS OF MEMORIES.

And now...

Something stirs beyond the gates.

Preparations have begun within the sleeping village. Whispers pass quietly from hall to hall. Secrets are guarded. Plans long hidden are beginning to awaken.

What awaiteth thee?

We shall not yet say.

But know this...

One doth celebrate fifty years but once.

And Larkspurshire intendeth to make certain that when the tale of our 50th Anniversary is finally written...

it shall be worthy of legend.

Huzzah! Thou hast returned to Larkspurshire, the gates stand wide, thy coin purse be full, and an ENTIRE DAY of merriment awaiteth thee!

But alas... thou must choose thy path!

THE JOUST! Cheer thyself hoarse as knights clash upon the field!

THE SHOWS! Music, comedy, daring deeds, and merriment aplenty!

THE SHOPS! Spend thy coin upon wondrous treasures thou absolutely, positively, most certainly needest!
