THE FAIRE WITHDRAWAL IS REAL...

It hath been nearly a month since the final cannon sounded and the gates of Larkspurshire closed for the season.

So tell us, good people...

The performers and villagers?

TALES FROM THE SLEEPING VILLAGE

Though her gates be closed, the old village hath not forgotten thee...

The lanes of Larkspurshire lie quiet now. The stages stand empty, the shops are shuttered, and no merry tune drifts upon the summer air.

Yet, if thou listenest closely, perhaps something still remains...

The echo of laughter upon the lanes.
The distant ring of steel.
A forgotten melody carried upon the wind.
The memory of thousands who once passed through these gates.

Larkspurshire sleeps...

But she still dreams of thee.

The gates be closed, the banners hang still, and the merry songs of minstrels have faded into the distance. Yet though Larkspurshire hath begun its long slumber, the memories of Faire still linger sweetly upon the wind.

For the first time in many weeks, there be no cannon to summon us, no bustling lanes to wander, and no cries of HUZZAH! echoing throughout the Realm.

And so, good gentles, we ask thee...

How didst thou spend thy first weekend after Faire?

Didst thou rest thy weary feet? Gather with thy Faire family? Sort through photographs and treasured memories? Or didst thou awaken, look toward Larkspurshire, and wonder...

"What am I supposed to do with myself now?"

Tell us below how thou survived thy first post-Faire weekend!

Fear not, good gentles. Larkspurshire merely sleepeth... but even sleeping villages dream of the day when we shall all gather once more.

The Colorado Renaissance Festival doth humbly thank each and every one of thee who journeyed to Larkspurshire during our 2026 season. Whether thou didst visit for a single day or return unto the Realm time and again, thou wert the very heart and soul of our village.

We pray that thou departest with fond memories, cherished friendships, and tales of merriment that shall be shared for many years to come.

Yet alas, as all seasons must, ours hath reached its end.

The gates are closed, the banners furled, and Larkspurshire now slumbereth. In peaceful dreams, the village remembereth bustling streets, the songs of merry minstrels, the laughter of children, the cheers of the crowd... and, most of all, thee.

Though the lanes now stand quiet, know this: the spirit of the Realm endureth, awaiting the day when its gates shall once again swing wide and welcome thee home.

Until that joyous hour, we wish thee safe travels, fair winds, kind roads, and prosperous adventures wherever thy next destination may lie.

From all of us here at the Colorado Renaissance Festival, thank thee for making our 2026 season one for the ages.

THE ULTIMATE FAIRE FOOD CHAMPION HATH BEEN CROWNED!

Good gentles, the great Battle of the Faire Food Champions hath reached its glorious end. Four mighty victors entered the lists, yet only one could ascend the summit and claim everlasting culinary glory.

The voices of the Realm have been counted, and the people have spoken...

THE SCOTCH EGG!

After a valiant struggle against the noble Roasted Nuts, the mighty Steak On A Stake, and the delectable Cheesecake Upon a Stick, the Scotch Egg hath emerged triumphant!

Let a thunderous chorus of HUZZAHS! ring throughout every lane, tavern, and marketplace of Larkspurshire, for the Scotch Egg now beareth the honored title of Supreme Faire Food of the 2026 Colorado Renaissance Festival!

To all our worthy contenders, we offer our deepest respect, for each fought nobly and won the hearts of many throughout the season.

But a question now lingereth upon the wind...

When the gates of Larkspurshire open once more, shall the Scotch Egg defend its crown... or shall a new champion rise to seize the throne in 2027?

Until then... feast well, travel safely, and as always...

ONE FINAL HUZZAH FOR OUR MERCHANTS!

Good gentles, the sands within the hourglass have nearly run their course, and but one glorious weekend remaineth in the 2026 Colorado Renaissance Festival!

As thou dost join us for our Final Huzzah Weekend, we beseech thee to wander the lanes of Larkspurshire one last time and pay a visit unto our wondrous merchants. Mayhap there yet awaiteth that perfect treasure, cherished keepsake, or thoughtful gift upon which thou hast long set thine eye.

Our merchants are the very heart and soul of the village. Through their craftsmanship, laughter, and fellowship, they fill Larkspurshire with life, color, and magic, making each Faire season a memory to be treasured.

If thou hast not yet found that one special item, now is thy chance, for when the village gates close, these marvelous wares shall journey forth until another season dawns.

From all of us here at the Colorado Renaissance Festival, we thank thee for sharing this extraordinary season with us. We pray thy days have been filled with merriment, adventure, and the Magic and Mystique of the Renaissance.

CHARACTER SPOTLIGHT: THE Renaissance Rascals

Good gentles, ere the gates of Larkspurshire close for a season, thy humble Rascals would fain offer their deepest thanks unto each and every soul who hath shared in our merriment, both within the Realm itself and here upon this very page.

As the Keepers of the Realm's missives and humble Chroniclers of its many wonders, we have counted it a great joy to bring thee the sights, sounds, laughter, and adventures of the Colorado Renaissance Festival throughout these past eight weeks. It hath ever been our fondest hope to keep thy hearts and spirits well connected unto Faire, even whilst the weekdays carried thee far from our village gates.

We pray that thy summer in fair Larkspurshire hath been filled with mirth, fellowship, adventure, and memories worthy of song.

Yet fret thee not, for this farewell is but a brief one.

Even now, great preparations are afoot for our 50th Annual Celebration of the Colorado Renaissance Festival, and we dare whisper that wondrous surprises await. We bid thee remain close unto this page, for many exciting tidings shall be revealed in the months to come.

Nor shall the Realm fall silent whilst Faire slumbers. Throughout the off-season, thy faithful Rascals shall continue to share tales, announcements, and a touch of the enchantment that maketh Larkspurshire unlike any other place beneath the sun.

Until such time as we meet again, dear friends...

May thy roads be safe, thy mugs ever full, and thy hearts ever drawn back to the Magic and Mystique of the Renaissance.
