Thanks to your generous donations, we raised more than $79,000 during The Lights of Lake Park Estates holiday display. We thank each of you for making this event a tremendous success and for supporting Suncoast Hospice, a member of Empath Health.

The Lights of Lake Park was started by Eddie Dow as a fundraiser to give back to Suncoast Hospice for they provided his wife Ruby during her final weeks. It's now raised over $1 million dollars.

The Lights of Lake Park began in 1993 as a way to raise money and show appreciation for Suncoast Hospice, and now, three decades later, they have surpassed one million dollars.

Thanks to your generous donations and the dedication of 132 volunteers the Lake Park Community raised more than $84,000 for Suncoast Hospice during The Lights of Lake Park Estates holiday display. Due to your giving this annual event has raised over $1,056,000 since launching 27 years ago. We thank each and every one of you for making this event such a tremendous success, for your generosity and for your support of Suncoast Hospice.

Just to let everyone know, the power is on at this time. On my way home from work, I drove by the downed main power poles along Belcher and Bardboor and they are still actively working on them, most are still down / broken, and am unsure if the power will go out tonight again as Duke Energy works on them. I will attempt to keep everyone posted and let us keep our fingers crossed! Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts.
